Previous Mycorem Workshop

International Workshop on Mycoremediation and Mycotreatments 2018

The previous MYCOREM event took place in Cuernavaca, Mexico, from October 28th to 30th, 2018. Drawing nearly 150 participants from 9 different countries including Mexico, Spain, Portugal, Slovenia, Canada, Ecuador, Brazil, Cuba, and Uruguay, the event was a vibrant gathering of international experts. It featured engaging networking activities, scientific sessions, a preworkshop course, and contests for student poster presentations and photography. Originally planned for a second edition in 2020, the event was unfortunately postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Undeterred by this setback, we are thrilled to announce the upcoming second edition of MYCOREM. Building upon the success of MYCOREM 2018 and the enthusiastic community dedicated to fungal applications in bioremediation and treatments, we are committed to delivering an even more impactful and enriching experience.
