ABSTRACTS
Abstract guidelines
- Submitted abstracts should be limited to research background or problem statement, objectives, methodology, results, discussion, conclusions, and recommendations. Authors are requested to submit a detailed and informative abstract.
- All abstracts should be submitted through the Abstract Submission Form. No text formatting will be possible at this point. The information you provide on the form will be used for the Workshop Abstract Book.
- Abstracts should be limited to 2500 characters (excluding title and author information).
- Reference list is optional, with a maximum of 300 characters.
- Graphical abstracts, graphs and other images are not accepted.
- The modes for presenting contributions will be: 1) Oral presentation, 2) Poster Presentation, 3) Poster and 3 min Thesis presentation. Authors may propose their preferred mode at the time of abstract submission; however, the Academic Evaluation Committee reserves the right to decide the presentation mode if necessary. This will be communicated to the speakers by August 10th, 2024.
Oral Presentation guidelines
- The oral presentation is scheduled for 15 minutes, which should include time for questions within this allotted timeframe.
- The official language of the event is English, no other language is accepted for presentation.
- All oral presentation slides must be submitted no later than October 20th, 2024, through the form that will be provided for this purpose. This is to avoid technical issues and unnecessary delays in the program, as well as to facilitate the evaluation of those presentations eligible for the Workshop Price contest. To avoid complications, changes to the files will not be allowed at the time of the session.
- We will provide a projector, laptop, and pointers for the presentations. If you have any specific requirements, please let us know.
Poster Presentation guidelines
- Posters will be limited to a size of 48 in x 60 in (120 cm x 180 cm) in portrait orientation.
- The title of the poster should be clearly visible at the top, using a legible font such as Arial, with a suggested minimum size of 24.
- We suggest that you use a sans serif font (like Arial) throughout the poster. Recommended minimum font size: 24 for headings and 18 for body text.
- Maintain a clear and concise layout to facilitate readability.
- Posters must be installed before 9:00 am on the assigned day and removed on the same day after the session ends. Display boards will be removed starting 6:30 pm on last day of the event, so the Organizing Committee will not be responsible for any forgotten posters.
- Velcro or other suitable material will be provided for mounting your poster on the stands; the use of materials that scratch, perforate, or damage the display boards is not permitted.
Certifications
- Abstract receipt letter will be issued automatically after you submit your abstract through the Abstract Submission Form.
- Certification of presentation will be granted solely to the author who presents the work. The names of co-authors will be included in the order they are submitted.
- Electronic attendance certificates will be provided to all registered participants within 10 days after the congress concludes.
